Tips and Tricks
Running a Session:
Run your Nearpod session from your school iPad. This will give you flexibility to walk around the room as the lesson progresses. If you have a display screen/Smartboard, I would suggest displaying the student view; you will need to sign in as a student on your computer to get the student view.
Getting Reports:
Click on the Reports tab from the Dashboard OR have them emailed to you as a PDF.
Inappropriate Student Name:
I always have a discussion about using your classroom name for Nearpod - the names are never displayed to other students and strictly used for report documentation. It may become a natural consequence for older kids if they want to be silly and use a different name!
You can also delete a student name from the teacher dashboard when students sign in. See screenshots below for help.
